This is a non-exhaustive list of some stuff I use in a topic based order. People have asked me what I use. Click on the arrows for a dropdown explanation of why.

OS

Why:

• With OSX and UNIX it is easy to install software and also use it for daily tasks
• Linux gives you extra powers in the cloud and containers and more!

Coffee

Writing tools

Writing:

• Obsidian mostly
• Logseq sometimes

Coding and writing Markdown:

• Visual Studio Code

Why:

• Fewer distractions + Hyperlinked notes!

• ImageOptim

Why:

• The environment

Browser

• As many of them as possible for development but with some specific uses
  • I use Chrome Dev Tools mostly for performance and web development purposes
  • Firefox for personal browsing
    • Firefox Focus for mobile browsing

Why:

• This could be a big blog post for sure! hmmm. Cross browser support and understanding is helpful and sometime really critical. Being able to use many tools is a good skill.

Keyboard

Why:

• Wanted a change, got a lofi experience with this mechanical keyboard!

Web Components

• Framework-less components for now!

Why:

• Trying to learn the core concepts first.
